Yeah thats bad to announce your retiring in the middle of the season, those types of announcements should be saved for after the last game you play. He always struck me as a selfish player, whenever he wasnt getting the ball alot he would complain to the media that Caughlin was a bad coach, oh really? He won his first attempt in a Super Bowl. After that awesome scramble then hitting Tyree for that game saving play, I wonder if he's still doubting Eli's big game play. I think he will be remembered for his huge ass grill most of all.
