Im 15 ,, 16 in march and really interested in boxing and have always pissed about boxing but i joined a gym a couple of mnths ago and i have progressed really well i feel in myself that i am good at something for a change
I grew up watchin Tyson,Ali,Jou louis, Leonard , Hagler , duran and them sort of fighters the good old hard boxers
Any way backto the point i live in england am im 15 and havnt had any fights yet because you have to be at a club for a year before you have a fight but what i was wondering ... Is it posssible for me to go pro ... Beacuse im starting a bit late because Hatton started at 8 . Tyson at 13, Mayweather - the dAY HE WAS BORN ... I just dont want to train for years that have my dream crushed that i aint good enough to go pro ... any replys would be grateful Thnxs

Re: Is It Possible ?
I think you've got time to have an amateur career and then a pro career afterwards.
Don't forget we're learning more all the time about how to look after ourselves, how to eat, how to stretch etc etc.
If you take good care of yourself now you might be physically able to compete at an older age than some of your idols.

Re: Is It Possible ?
Kermit Cintron started at 19 I think.
George Foreman started at 18.
Ronald Hearns and Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. had no amateur careers and are now respectable pros.
Anything is possibel.
But, you need to get a trainer that actually cares you can't do this on your own.
