I wann go Mexico some time between End of April - Early May. I basically wanna know what the better parts of The Caribbean Coast?
I was thinking of just doing Cancun, but ive seen other bits in brochures and on the net so im not sure?
Any advice?

Hey Jim, I'm heading to Mexico myself this year. I'm targetting Cancun, but I'd like a local opinion of the place and a few hints and tips so I'll just leech your thread if you don't mind.

Yeah, I have a fascination with the Mayans and Aztecs since I was a kid, can't wait!!!!
I've heard Vera Cruz has the hottest women, I think thats pretty far south though.
I've been to Mexico twice, both times doing aid-type work. I was on the Baja both times and it was as beautiful a place as I have ever seen.
