Help recalling great fights of 2007 plz

Ok people. I need your help.

What can you do for me?

I need you to recall some of the greatest moments in boxing for 2007.

The truth is I only follow certain divisions. My mind and time just can't follow the whole enchilada.

So, put on your thinking caps and tell me about the best in your opinion fights 2007 produced. (Where the hell is wacko when we need him)

What is the reason behind this?

I am entering a video contest and I need footage but first I need input/ideas.

For me the best fight was Pavlik/Miranada. It was almost a coming out for Pavlik; a getting thrown to the wolves type thing IMO where he was supposed to get exposed and get kicked back to being another midwest hype job. Sure he won impressively against Taylor, but he put a beating on Miranada for practically every round and that win solidified him as a true threat{which he was}.

Hatton/Mayweather was exciting because all of the hype; and funny because of the ricocheting off the ring post, and sad because I am a fan of Hatton{but also a fan of Floyd}. Alot of emotions were involved and the whole country vs. country and even race thing were pulled in. Alot of tears were shed when Hatton was on his back like a flipped turtle and had problems getting up. Great fight for many reasons, not necessarily in the ring reasons.

Katsidis/Wongjongalong or whatever his name was. Just a damn good fight; can't remember the kids name, but I remember the fight.

Legion, I think you are referring to Katsidis vs Amonsot, which was a great fight, and one that I was going to suggest as well.

Oh, I know Danny wouldn't forget Cotto vs Judah, I was just listing my favs of the year. :D

well.....the cotto and judah fight was great only in the first 4 rounds, after that it was just a judah was just a punching bag

i think vargas mayorga was actually a fantastic fight to watch, and a goodbye to vargas which he could be proud of.

katsidis 2 fights this byear were amazing.
calzaghe kessler for the sheer skill shown, both of these guys have case for the top p4p 10 imo

hatton mayweather for the hype and the fans travelling made it the buiggest build up in britain since lewis tyson, maybe even bigger

The only thing Fernando Montiel and Luis Melendez were guilty of were not being named Pavlik,Mayweather or Pacquiao And left off the Big networks.

This one was worthy of Fight of the year Imo without a doubt.Montiel cast caution and defence to the side looking to make a devestating immpression against the lanky power of Melendez.They went back and forth,traded Kd's in back to back rounds,Traded cuts and lumps.Montiel was loading up in severe fashion through out the fight and Luis was applying steady pressure all to willing to give and take. Fernando,Doing the fricking Ali Shuffle and Imitating A bolo punch Lol In the 6 dropped Melendez right on script and looked to finish.Round 7 opened and Montiel walked in on Melendez and BLAM, Melendez dropped the champ hard right out.Montiel was hurt big but scratched his wasy back down the stretch ,Cut Melendez and ended It In the final and 12th round with a Huge Body shot.Great fight between two warriors.

Montiel better clean that Defense up come this Saturday night against Castillo.Or on second thought for the viewers sake......Repeat carnage ;D
