....well I do like to change people's opinions about how Imus is some kind of evil person just because he said something and got caught in a slow news week.
Imus is a good guy and his persona on the radio is intended to be funny and it is. He's a great interviewer especially of politicians and he's not afraid to call bullshit on anyone.
and Rob Bartlett and Larry Kinney are just hilarious, check out some of those clips they are funny

i mean if you had your own show id listen to it. im sure you'd have an interesting show none the less.
why do all the shows have to be put on by 60+ year olds who have grey hair/balding/obseity issues?

Well Imus is relevant to politics and he stands for some good issues....supporting the VA hospitals, getting rid of chemicals in everyday household items that harm people.
plus he's a reformed drug addict and that is humorous to think about especially when he says he's sick.

right but i think your missing my point buddy, and that is why does it take like 55+ years to make it? why cant producers see that there is also young talent out there just as wise/qualified/entertaining that would be able to appeal to a broader younger demograpic?

It was a joke...the thing is guys like Imus have this kind of thing down...they have to be creative everyday and it's hard for someone younger to accomplish that and be successful without burning out.
Plus radio ain't the sexiest of jobs...hence no youth movement, they find it easier to video blog on youtube.
I figure radio will come back but it will take all of the big money corporations getting out and actually allowing good music on....I am sick and fucking tired of hearing the same crap every day!
