Hey guys. I lost the windows password on one of my old computers and I really need to get back into the machine. Does anyone know of a good windows password cracker or some software that would enable me to get back into my computer. I can't reformat the hard drive because I actually need the information off the computer. If anyone can help out I would really appreciate thanks.

That happened to me once...There is a series of things you can do at start up that will allow you to over ride the password....we had bought a second hand computer for the kids to play video games on and there was a password on it but we did not have it and my youngest locked it by accident.....I still have the series of codes...if you still havent gotten in it PM me and i will forward them to you...It was windows XP as well
Thanks guys for all the responses. I was actually able to get in. I tooled around on the web for awhile and found a site that had different ways to clear the admin password. It was the same link you posted USA loves the... Thanks again.
