bare knuckle , what would boxing be today if this still happened ?

......I think it be be a blood bath firstly, but then i think it might bring out a better fighter in some of today boxers ???!!....what do you think boxing would be today if this happened would it play a big part of out sociatiy like is did all those years ago..... and would todays boxers be pros with out the idea of media and money to force them through there boxing career .??..it is knowen that bare knuckle boxers were gypsys and not from a certain class ...im not sure what the world would be like if this had continued to the millenium
but i have read about some of the greats and it intrests me other peeples opions if you please .

This still goes on today... its called field rage ((think thats the name)) in the UK the winner get £500 and the loser gets nothing.

two fighters meet in a field and go at it till one gives up... not for me.

Boxing has moved on and for the better IMO... don't like this kinda stuff.

But saying that Kimbo Slice made his name for taking on people for $10,000 a go and it made a star out of him with the power of the net.

I think we would get a much better fight with the gloves.You don't want the two guys slugging it out with broken knuckles and bleeding everywere from there mouths and shit..that's just nasty.

tHIS IS A REGULAR THING HERE. dvd SALES PROVE QUITE PROFITABLE AND ALL SORTS OF LOW LIVES ARE INVOLVED. fIGHTS ARE USUALLY DULL BUT BRUTAL AS HANDS HURT FROM CONNECTED WITH BONE AND FIGHTERS ARE OUT OF CONDITION AND LACKING POLISH IN MOST CASES.

If there was no gloves used in todays boxing , then after thinking long and hard about this , i would have to say it would be - BAREKNUCKLE fighting not boxing ;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D

If no queensbury rules then its not boxing.

Any poor slob can get into a bare knuckle fight, but it takes talent and hard work to refine the art of boxing.
