New Mike Tyson Bio-pic????

It's been reported that a film is in the works and Mike Tyson said he wants Jamie Foxx to play Mike Tyson.


Any thoughts on this? I think it would be nice to have a new version with big time money behind it and better actors. I never saw the first one but I don't think it's a big mistake.

Mike's career and life is a little played out and tired though.....where would this movie begin and end?


In my opinion the best years to focus on Tyson would be the years we know the least about the details....from Buster Douglas to the end of his career. Although the begining of his career was frought with drama too

Provided there was a decent director, and you had decent actors, and the producers didn't try to change the story around (for example in Cinderella Man: they made Max Baer seem like a total douchebag when in real life I think he was a pretty nice guy), it would make a great movie.

Seems like it should start where he beats the man up who makes him angry because he killed one of his pet chickens, and it would probably end where he most recently got sent to prison (for drugs). It might be a bit long to stretch the storyline that far, though...
