Jorge Linares next fight!

Featherweight titlist Jorge Linares (25-0, 16 KOs), the prodigy from Venezuela, could make his second defense against Australia's Billy "The Kid" Dib (17-0, 9 KOs). Eric Gomez of Golden Boy, which promotes Dib and is working with Linares' promoter Akihiko Honda of Japan, told ESPN.com that both camps have accepted the bout. "Both sides have given us the green light," he said. "Now we need to place the fight." There are two possible spots, on the undercard of the proposed Shane Mosley-Zab Judah HBO PPV fight (either May 17 or May 31) or on the undercard of the May 3 Oscar De La Hoya-Steve Forbes fight, although HBO hasn't committed to televising an undercard fight.

Seems like I've heard of him, is he the Australian Naz impersonator or am I confusing him with somebody else?

I don't know, I don't even know if the prospects thread got erased or not. I don't really understand the search function now, its like its says something about how I don't use above the minimum amount of words which is 4 even if I'm using more than four words :confused:

And I don't want to go back through a whole bunch of pages

Might just start a new one, some of the guys like Linares and maybe Povetkin are probably past prospect level now.

I don't see Dib's people putting him in with Linares. I think he'll be in way over his head.

Dib is the suppose Naz impersonator...

Dib is from GBP and is trained by Jack Mosley and trains with SSM.
Dib fought on the undercard of PBF-ODLH and SSM-Collazo.

Some of you might have seen Dib fight in those Yahoo links I posted where Yahoo streams the undercard fights that don't make it on air.

The kids got speed and moves well but Linares will eat him alive too much skill for Dib.
