When and who will he be fighting
As a ricky fan who has organised numerous visits to see him fight within this country, can anyone give me some info on when and who he will be fighting.
I have been keeping my eye on this for a while and am getting a bit ticked off.
I know he will either be fighting on the 24th may in manchester or the saturday after at wembley. Each time i read the blogs / latest news it is always saying " a decision / announcement will be made by the end of the week " .........this has been every week for a month now.
As i will defo be going to see it ( as usual ) i am yet again organising for close family and friends from the local boxing club to go as a group ( a bit of a logistical nightmare but im a suckeer for punishment...lol ) i need to know a.s.a.p.
Any helpful news woud be appresiated and as i am new please go easy on me
Thanks for your time and views in advance

Re: When and who will he be fighting
and would this be manchester on the 24th or the weekend after at wembley??
Re: When and who will he be fighting
It's not definate yet but rumour has it, it will be May 24th, City of Manchester Stadium.
Favourite for the fight is Juan Lazcano but Ricky says he's on a shorlist of 6 with Ricardo Torres and Kendall Holt rumoured to be the other front runners.
Re: When and who will he be fighting
I hope Ricky realized Torres would do wonders for his career at this stage.
Especially coming back after a loss.

Well its deffo May 24th in Manchester. He turned down a shitload of money to fight at Wembley for a real homecoming. I think he's gunna go at City's stadium as there is plenty of sentimental value there.
Mick, I agree, Torres is the logical choice, and the fight would be a crowd pleaser.
