Not to much, seems to have fought some decent opponents in his career, but comes up short against the higher level. His chin looks solid.

I see him being there to the end but never really being in it!

Sal, suddenly all your rambling about Kirilov schooling Mijares sound.... Well absurd to be honest.
I just read 3 different reports and all 3 said it was a close fight coming into the late rounds.
I myself thought Kirilov would give Mijares a good fight but honestly after reading about this bout and seeing how Mijares is on his way up I just can't see how Kirilov would beat Mijares...

Now I would much rather see Montiel vs. Mijares. :cool:

Anyone else seen the headline on fightnews.com for this bout. Kirilov wins by majority draw??!!??

i think they mean win as in a successful title defense in the sense that he didnt lose his title
