None British opinions please.
I would like to know from you guys from outside of the UK , wot you really think of the Brendan Ingle fighting style.
We had Herol Graham - Hamed - Nelson - and now Witter , its ugly to watch in my opinion , Hamed had success because of his power ,
Herol Graham was once called a limbo dancer by an oponant :)
I truely prefer a conventional style of fighting , but i wondered wot you guys from afar think of this style. i think it can take you so far but never be the very best of all time with a slack defence.
As MAB proved againest Hamed for example. It always looks like these guys are afraid to get hit.
COME ON OPINIONS GUYS.

Re: None British opinions please.
To be honest I kinda like the style. It offers something different and in Hamad's case, can be very entertaining.
I never seen enough of Witter, but from what I have seen, I like his ability to switch his stance effortlessly. The only fighter I have ever seen who could do it better is Hagler, as he was the master at it.
Awkward fighters are good for the game in my opinion as they have the ability to expose glaring weaknesses in their opponents. It is not always pretty, but I see no harm in exploiting a fighters natural ability.
Pernell Whitaker has one of the most Awkward styles ever, but it made him a great fighter. Hamad also could have been but I think it was his own arrogance that shorted his career.
Re: None British opinions please.
well in that case!;D Many people credit Graham for inventing that style. I think it's very difficult to replicate because it relies so much on reflex (yeah I know orthodox boxers rely on that to) & yes it is ugly to watch.

Yes i agree Missy , imagine if Herol had the power of a middleweight HAMED !!!!! :)

I think it's a great style when executed by "great" or talented fighters.. the guys mentioned.
Sometimes though the lesser guys employing that style look like proper mugs.. and end up getting beat like proper mugs.
