I got nothing against the guy, he seems ok and all, but as soon as they put him in with a live fighter who can manipulate distance, he is toast. He carries his right arm below his waist and his left low also.
He does not have the reflexes that RJJ had and he will not get away with those bad habits.
Joppy as expected looked like a shot fighter.
I just readed that Joppy was KO.....in round 10th..... poor Joppy since he was KO by Tito he never was the same and he is a good boxer, but is old now and i dont know if still having opportunity in his career.....that is what i guess.......:-\
To answer the post question. did anyone see the Bute fight tonight.
Bute's mother was sitting in row 2 , and i definatly know she was watching the fight.
so to answer the question Mrs Bute watched the fight last night :)

An embarrassing fight, Bute's promoters should be embarrassed but I'm sure there not, I'm sure it was a huge win against a former champion in their opinion.

I have to agree. I am not sure how Joppy even got a shot at the title. The IBF ratings committee should be hung from the rafters. Bute shows me glaring weaknesses when he fights if you look past his competition. Sure he is still rather new to the show, but IMO, when you hold a world title belt, Bika should not be considered your biggest victory.Quote:
