Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
My guess is, its David Haye, he still trawls the clubs and ive read before about him starting or getting in to arguments, hes also not one of Franks fighters.
If it is Haye, he will now be shiiting himself about his chin that he already admits is dodgy;D

Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
How many world champions are there that aren't with Warren?
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
Clinton Woods, Junior Witter, David Haye. Isnt that all?
(Except a bunch of WBU champs who Warren may or may not count - surely there is a bigger chance of someone knocking down Derry Matthews than David Haye.)
Scott Harrison may be a good bet, if Warren is taking a few liberties (i.e. not talking about a current champ).
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
I wonder what Frank will say if Enzo looses. Can't wait for this as I will be there in person to enjoy it.
Anyway, does getting knocked spark out mean he has a glass chin? From what I have seen when Haye has been decked he has got back up. He was stopped by Carl Thompson as he was knackered and even then he was not floored. Now Carl Thompson was a man who could hit so Haye's chin may not be as bad as what it seems.
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
It wont be Haye.. in nightclubs just before a fight?
It wont be a Warren fighter.
It wont be a name like Hatton, cause it would have been widely known.
As MIkkel said Warren would class WBU as world champion.. we need a list of all the toilet belt holders
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
I've just heard fresh claims on who that boxer is that Warren mentioned that got sparked out!....it was Naseem Hamed. He was sparked out outside of his own kabab shop that he owns and lives in by a reveller from a night out drinking.......ONLY JOKING,I think!

You are joking?
He is well known for it, the artical says it happened a week ago and they arent fighting for another week, so a couple of weeks before a fight isnt too much of a stretch and he wouldnt have had to been drinking
He is also training in Miami at the mo which is laiden with clubs, which would also explain why its not common knowledge who it is over here, ie not in the news

It's not common knowledge because it's obviously a nobody or some retired nobody.. if it's even genuine
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
iv heard from a couple of csources that it was michael jennings, who warren would class as a world champion (wbu) but would he slate his own fighter ?

It's obviously not Haye. If any fighter was literally knocked unconscious they wouldn't be allowed to fight now would they?
I know if a fighter is stopped in a fight he has to be sidelined for at least 4 months before fighting again, and that's just a stoppage of any kind I believe.
If someone was actually punched unconscious outside a club they would not be allowed to fight for at least 6 months I'd imagine and also be subjected to stringent scanning.
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
I heard it was Michael Jennings as well. That was put on the forum of Boxrec.
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
Any fighter sparked outside a club is an irresponsible git ans should be stripped of the title.
That may sound harsh, but they're bringing boxing into disrepute acting in such a manner and nobody, not even the wbu wants a knocked out champion.
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
Jennings is a Warren fighter though
Re: Warren talking about a fighter getting sparked
Jennings is a Warren fighter and I think he is in the country at the mo as well, I think if it had been him, a google search would have found something on a british forum or even a local rag headline.
Haye however is in a part of the world that he is unknown, he isnt a household name, even in the uk, he is training in Miami and word would have got to Warren by the grapevine for sure, it also appeared directly under a Warren artical about Hayes antics.
Ive read before about Haye getting arrogant in clubs.
I just think if it had been a warren fighter, he wouldnt have mentioned it and if it had happened in Britain everyone would know about it
