Been trying to tell some guys at work about the fight where David Haye got 'old manned' by Carl Thompson in 2004 - and how probably in the long run it did him good !
Anyway this used to be on youtube but the link I posted on this forum last year no longer works - anyone got another link to the fight.

Haye blew his wad earlier in the fight then run out of gas. Fair play to Carl for winning and fair play to Haye for now becoming the man in Cruiserweight division. Despite what Cunningham says.
I watched this fight for the first time the other day. Just made 2 observatins really. 1) Karl Thompson must have had one of the most amazing chins in boxing history..he took some ridiculous shots. and 2) Haye's stamina was absolutely atroscious in that fight..I've seen amateurs with more stamina than he had in that fight. He stopped throwing anything from round 2 onwards after that big first round :-\. Good to see he's sorted that somewhat.
