Yet again he wins with his god dam style
the bum ruiz no matter how many ppl hate him has won and will probably get a title shot sometime soon.
i hate him, dont like him or hismanager but a win is a win and i believe he might actually win a title shot if he fights the right person.
i think david tua should fight him and just ko him again...lol
As much as I dislike and suffer minor stroke symtoms thinking of his past lowlights, Ruiz is one of the most effective Heavy weights in recent memory with what he brings to the ring. Absolute Crap....cagey If fugly absolute crap.
I was one that actually wanted to see this lastnight with McCline and from what i here it was dreadful.I have a headache just thinking that he somehow WILL get himself into a title shot?And he might just win it :-X. At least he has that fatmouth norm stone in his corner to keep us awake....wait I think Is gone also!Ugh
He may indeed. He was a bit better this fight than some of his. McCline was doing more of the holding. Ruiz pickep up a bit in the final rounds and landed some good shots. He's done well for someone with such a style and lack of skill.
I don't remember how many times I thought Ruiz was done, but he keeps coming back. His style is ugly but he gets the job done!
The "new" ruiz (which is funny just in itself) did nothing more than continue what some would consider foreplay on yet another opponet. I pray he doesn't somehow slither his way into another title shot .......in the last couple of one's we've had the guys who've lost would avoid the dreadful hugging and beat ruiz easily. I however should be fair and admit my hate for this guy and his style makes me biased and maybe he's doin better than i give him credit for...
I hope his next title shot is against wlad, and hopefully wlad will do his job this time and put the quiet man to sleep.
Ruiz is like that one friend, who when playing mortal combat, they learn that one trick, that they do over and over again, and they ruin the game.
Once again; Ruiz is an unpopular, spoiler of a fighter, but by no means a bum. He has beaten many of the top men in heavyweight boxing today. Regardless of the lack of quality in this opposition, he has beaten what has been put in front of him effectively and consistantly.
His style will allow him to angle for a title shot. He probably would prefer the route which does not include Wlad Klitschko as Wlad has a size advantage that would prevent Ruiz's style to work for him.
Ruiz needs to hold and hit (occasionally) and Wlad's size will prevent Ruiz from clinging onto him. Some might question this given his pereformance against Valuev, but as Wlad prefers to box predominantly from the outide Ruiz would be in trouble already as he can't be effective at a range anything more distant than chest to chest.
