Boxrec has this bout pencilled in. Is it gonna happen, Dib has been talking up a fight with Linares for 18 months now but he is still a bit green IMO. His best win is Rogers Mtagwa who is an OK journeyman but no Linares.
Hope GBP arent throwing Dib in the deep end too early.
I've been hearing of this match-up for awhile... good fight between two promising prospects but I think Linares will have to much for Dib to handle
I think Dib is going to get smashed

Dib moves well but from what I've seen he does a lot of things that I personally don't like and still needs a lot of work.

As my standard I refuse to 'hype' and or speak highly of any boxer with less then 20-25 fights (Depending on opposion and other things) I consider Linares a title holder and I rate him very highly. I think he beats Guerrero soundly and would also beat Luevano. John I don't think the fight will ever happen but I also think he beats him. I feel that Linares as got the background work and superb skills to go with it.
I also rate Linares highly Mick, I was disappointed that Injin Chi choose to leave as that fight would have solidified Linares' contendership for me.Quote:

I think Linares beats anyone at 126lbs.
I'm a huge fan of Linares and have been following him for as long as most people on here but I still think the jury's slightly out. I wanna see him do it against a young, prime, hungry good to elite type fighter. No offense to Larios cause I do think that was a good win for Linares. And even though at times he looked great last time out there were times when he looked a bit, I don't know, unsure of himself, a little too inactive. Looked like he was a bit worried about his stamina and got hit a little more than I would like him too.
Not like I don't have high hopes, I do, but he needs to keep improving.

I saw that Dib was slated to face Orlando Salido, but that fight got scrapped he's now fighting a 11-3 guy. Either this guy or flakey or GBP is trying to hype him up. I didn't think he was that great against Mtagwa. Salido would probably kick his ass at this point. Linares would destroy him.
