Froch-Inkin rescheduled...

Hennessy Sports has confirmed that due to an acute infection, Denis Inkin will not be available to fight Carl Froch on the 29th March at the Nottingham Arena.Universum Box-Promotions have today confirmed that Inkin will be ready and fit to fight by the end of April. The entire event will now be rescheduled for either the 3rd or 10th of May and this will be confirmed by 6pm Monday. Chief support John Murray vs John Fewkes plus the majority of the undercard as previously advertised will be rescheduled to appear on the new date. The Froch-Inkin fight will be broadcast live in the UK on ITV1. Promoter Mick Hennessy said, "I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to thank ITV, Nottingham Arena, SHOBOX and the fight fans for their full and continued support." All ticket holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be valid for the rescheduled date, should you be unable to attend on the new confirmed date, please return your ticket to the point of purchase for a full refund.

HaHa...If Tam is the man I think he is he definetly will take it back...I mean Tam will have a hard time anyway,when Inkin knocks Froch out...:cool:

all right guys, my last post on this fight was a bit of a heat of the momment with my fury that the fight might not be happening. I dont think Inkin is scared of him but its been the only thing on my mind since ive found out about the fight and to hear it wasnt happening got to me lol.

But its back on now and this gives them both more time to train for the fight and prepare for it. I think Carl would have been pissed off with this because its his biggest fight and he knows that if he doesnt win it, its over for him and people will really think hes been a fraud from the start. But I know that hes going to knock him out and be champion by the end of 2008.

But my suspence will just have to last longer and ill have to just get on with it. It will make the KO just that little bit more special when he does it.

Ps Mick I dont work for team froch, but i wish i did ;D
