John Thaxton Vs Amir Khan..why Not???

WHY SHOULD THIS FIGHT NOT HAPPEN???

Amir Khan has done alot for boxing in the recent years including the olympics, but I feel both him and his promoter are staying clear of John Thaxton.. Amir Khan goes around shouting his mouth off about world titles, but he hasn't even taken care of his home turf (Jono)..

Will we ever see the result of the fight??

I have met both men, Amir Khan quite a afable character but still only a young man, giving it the large with all his minders around him not that excesable to be honest.. In contrast you have the experienced John Thaxton who doesnt think anything of himself, never bigging himself up.. I met him down at Hunstanton in Geezers Palace ( www.geezerspalace.co.uk ), when he was there buying some cleto reyes gear and some Geezer's T-shirts, and I have got to say he was a lovely man and I wish him all the best, keep chipping away John because this fight should happen!!

It's not going to happen just because Thaxton is a nice guy.

And it's also not going to happen because Thaxton isn't in the way of Kahn winning a world title.
