What are you watching on June 7?
Multiple sources have confirmed to Maxboxing that the June 7th show featuring the rematch between Carlos Quintana and Paul Williams for the WBO welterweight strap, and the jr. middleweight bout between Sergio Mora and Vernon Forrest (which will be televised by Showtime) will take place at the Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York.
About a hundred or so miles away at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, HBO has a doubleheader of their own as middleweight kingpin Kelly Pavlik will defend against Gary Lockett, and WBO junior featherweight champion Daniel Ponce de Leon faces Juan Manuel Lopez.
I
m going for the Pav card.

It is, but on the 28th.
To answer Gamo's question, I'll wait and see what British TV is showing, but with Warren's deal with Setanta I can be pretty sure Pavlik vs. Lockett will be on there. If they're both shown, I'll probably go with Pavlik vs. Lockett. I don't think Forrest vs. Mora or Williams vs. Quintana will be as entertaining.
Re: What are you watching on June 7?
Pavlik/Lockett for me; though I would love to see the Williams/Quintana rematch almost as much.
I hope Forrest pummels Mora into oblivion.
Re: What are you watching on June 7?
The most interesting fight of the night to me is Ponce/Lopez so I'll probably go with that. Quintana/Williams will probably be better than Pavlik/Lockett but its not a big deal, I'll just record the one I'm not watching.
Re: What are you watching on June 7?
Probably Pavlik's first defense, but I'll watch the Showtime card on the west coast time.
Re: What are you watching on June 7?
Ditto...Pavlik-Lockett for me...mainly cause of the De Leon/Lopez fight.

Agreed on pretty much everything.
Although I am very interested by this Quintana - Williams bout but I don't have Showtime so I'll probably Sopcast it and watch the Pavlik - Locket one on HBO West or something. I'll figure it out when it gets closer.
Re: What are you watching on June 7?
I must be the only one but Quintana Williams 2 does not intrigue me much at all. Don't know why,it's weird. I cannot wait for the Juanma Ponce fight,Juanma will try to box, look good, get caught, dropped and they will go to war for the rest of the fight! Forrest Mra should be decent and so should Pav v Lockett for as long as it lasts.
Re: What are you watching on June 7?
I'll be watching Deleon vs Lopez and Qunitana vs Williams then watch Pavlik match on DVR.
