Any questions for John Ruiz? I'll be talking to him in a few hours.
If any of you have any questions for him that would be cool... I'll write them into the interview;)

Re: Any questions for John Ruiz? I'll be talking to him in a few hours.
seriously... I knew I was gonna catch smack for asking:-X
Re: Any questions for John Ruiz? I'll be talking to him in a few hours.
Ok I'll try and be helpful
Ask him what his feelings are on his reputation within the sport and whether he feels hurt by the criticisms he constantly receives, as he is after all one of the most succesful and consistent heavyweights of the last 10 years.
Next ask him what his current goals and ambitions are? Is he looking for a fight with Klitschko or does he want a chance for revenge agains Ruslan Chagaev and Nikolay Valuev.
Oh and ask him what his feelings were concerning the decision against Valuev, whether he still thinks he was robbed?
Re: Any questions for John Ruiz? I'll be talking to him in a few hours.
Ask him did theresult against Tua infleunce his decision to hold on for dear life adopt the tactics he has.
Re: Any questions for John Ruiz? I'll be talking to him in a few hours.
Also ask him why he thinks Jones decided to fight him rather than other Heavyweight Champions of the time.
Ask him will he be at Chagaev-Valuev II to challenge the winner.
Re: Any questions for John Ruiz? I'll be talking to him in a few hours.
You guys have to give him credit... He came in at 233, his lowest weight in 5 years and nealy pitched a shut out against a decent fighter in McCline who floored peter 3 times...
Re: Any questions for John Ruiz? I'll be talking to him in a few hours.
I actually have all of those and yes Donny I'll ask a slightly more tactful version of your question;D

Ask him that considering how well he handled McCline, does he think he could be in a position to beat Sam Peter.
Also ask him when he plans to call it a day.

I give him credit, it takes an exceptional; physical specimen to rise to world title level in boxing.

He got messed up by Tua and prevented it from ever happening again. Even If it's not pretty it's effective. Like Cory Spinks. Like Bernard Hopkins. Like Ricky Hatton.

Yeah you're right, crazed fanbase and carnival atmosphere aside I actually find his fights just as interesting as Hattons.
Hatton to me is just Ruiz with masses of screaming fans to make a great atmosphere.
Watch him with the sound down and its snooze time
