Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
Wow, and I was worried the main event could be lackluster:rolleyes:
Seriously though, this now practically means no matter how well Calzaghe does against Hopkins, Audley will negate any interest Joe could gather for UK fighters in America.
Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
Shit now that Audley Harrison is fighting on the undercard they most have changed this event to PPV.

Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
Audley deserves all the piss people take out of him, but I would like to see him do well
Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
Bradley "Sweet Sugar" Pryce and Nathan Cleverely are on as well.
Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
this just goes to show how some people no matter what little they have done, no matter how many times they just take your money and run, no matter how many people see threw there total rubbish...............somehow are given yet another chance totally undeserved. audley has for years sang his own praise, ripped of fans by fighting nobodies for the large part, never delivering even on the smallist of stages.......somehow gets a chance at re-burth.......in vegas.......on a hugh bill......there just is no justice where some people are.

Yeah but I bet Audley doesnt see it that way . Its just another chance to get quick cash and run . He should take the bull by the horns in this fight . He is on a stage to make a statement. He could really fight with passion and change our minds on him but im certain it will be another pathetic display .
Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
well i can't understand how frank warren can justify giveing audley the chance..... he could have had amir khan fight out there on the undercard, a young up and coming kid who could learn from the experince not a harrison who will at best return to british level fights if he's lucky.............. warren has been audleys biggist critic over the years but never overlooks a chance to put his name on a bill thinking it will make him a bit more money
Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
OK this is the real last chance he will get.
Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
It's guys like Audley that got people to come up with the word schadenfreude.
I hope he overachieves only to be KO'd in a devistating manner....please inform us as to who he's fighting when you find out

Re: Audley Harrison on Calzaghe-Hopkins undercard
Who knows, Audley might, after his car accident and numerous defeats decide to throw caution to the wind, and box to actually knock out his opponent, rather than looking to avoid getting knocked out himself.
With Khan, his chins still developing, with Audley, I think it can only get weaker as years pass, so he needs to start utilising his physical attributes instead of fighting scared.

That's what he tried against Sprott. He showed in that fight that regardless of attitude he just never was good enough.

He had Sprott down in the first and you would have thought the K.O win over Danny would have given him some confidence but as early as the 2nd against Sprott he was fighting sacred again . He just got caught in the 3rd and we saw that he cant absorb a punch well .
