Dawson-Johnson Scorecard! Read This.

Judges Nicolas Hidalgo (Venezuela), Peter Trematerra (USA) and Jack Woodburn (Canada) all scored the first ten rounds of the controversial Chad Dawson-Glen Johnson fight identically, giving Dawson a 7-3 edge in rounds. All three gave Dawson the first two rounds, Johnson the third round, Dawson the fourth round, Johnson the fifth round, Dawson rounds six through nine and Johnson round ten. Hidalgo gave Johnson round eleven and Dawson round twelve, while Trematerra and Jack Woodburn gave Dawson the eleventh and Johnson the twelfth for a 116-112 verdict across the board. The result elicited boos from the crowd and a SHOWTIME TV poll showed that 80 percent of viewers were most impressed with Johnson's performance on the night.

I gave it to Dawson by 2 rounds

I gave it johnson by 1 round.

Dawson was rocked and hurt on numerous occassions, johson tested dawson's chin with some good shots yet was never hurt once in the whole fight by dawson.

Overall, i dont care what the judges gave it as, i feel sorry for johnson because he did far more damage than dawson did, the faces showed the story at the end.

Anyway, i was expecting to see dawson live up to the hype hes been recieving from many boxing fans, unfortunately he has failed to impress at all. He has slick skills yet is a negative fighter with relatively weak punching power and doesnt have a good chin.

Another jeff lacy in the making in my honest opinion! Hes being bigged up by certain people, believes the hype, then when he fights a truly class act he will get put on the floor.

Will have to see how calzaghe gets on against hopkins, but i think calzaghe, hopkins and tarver would comfortably beat dawson.

I gave Johnson the second and dawson the 11th, also rounds 4 and 8 were very close. My scorecard:

My card adds up to a 115 draw but I can see how the Showtime fighter got all the close rounds...(cough) bullshit (cough)

surprised they gave any of the last three to Dawson.
