What's going on with Kessler/Miranda?
Now on boxingtalk they have Kessler's promoters saying they are willing to fight Miranda on HBO at Warrior's Arena in Florida (Miranda's promoters home arena so to speak) but that Leon Margules, Miranda's promoter, has told HBO that he's "not interested."
Odd with all the Miranda coward talk about Kessler. I guess it could be two things, one Miranda, or his people, don't want it as badly as they maintained, or Kessler's people low balled Miranda on the contract terms (no doubt Pantera's take ;D). If that's the case then considering Kessler's willing to come to Florida to fight him (odd since out of the two guys Kessler's "the man") they must have really low balled him.
They just need to make this happen somehow.

I don't know about all the other stuff, but you're right, it needs to happen. What a fight!! If not, get Miranda in there with Andrade, as that would be a sick fight as well.

It's always about money with these things. Kessler probably has more options to consider than Miranda does.

I don't get the feeling that the fight not happening has anything to do with miranda, he hits me as the type of guy who would fight anybody well advised or not. I don't think kessler is afraid either just the risk is too high, i'm not sure that he is confident enough that he would be able to outbox miranda without getting banks'ed.

I can imagine thet Kessler's confidence is a little low at the moment, but he needs a fight, any fight, to get back to winning ways. Perhaps a less dangerous opponent first, but then straight in a couple months later with Miranda. He 's a much superior boxer than Miranda IMO, but if his mind is indeed fragilt ATM, then Miranda might be more dangeorus than necasary.

Kessler/Palle ran away the first time with no excuse. Very unprofessional, they just left Miranda's team hanging after everything was agreed upon. Now it has been weeks. You think Pantera just sat around waiting.
I can gurantee you the only reason Miranda would not take the fight is he has something else in the works. Watch for a press release before tomorrow! ;D

Having never met the guy, I think scumbag would be a strong word to use. I will agree though that his way of handling business frustrates me, and that I dont even think it benefits him or his fighters in the long run. After all, there is only so many times you can screw people over in order to gain short term benefits.
However, I do think it seems like he has found his match in Margules when it comes to fabricating press releases and running from verbal agreement. I wouldn't bet that you would admit that though :)

I can tell you that this fight is not going to happen.
But Miranda did land a great fight while Palle/Kessler was out dicking around.
A press release I hear is on it's way with all the details. Should be out soon today.
