Jc Vs Hopkins - Betting Odds - Opinions Please!!

Hey allright guyz,

I wanting to put some money down on this fight and just wanted to know what you guys think, im a jc fan but ive got a feeling hopkins is going to pull it off (british fighters history says it all when stepping up in class)

These are the bets im wanting to put down, spreading bets for better chance

bhop - ko's - jc -
round 8 - odds - 81/1 - bet 16 pounds
round 9 - odds - 81/1 bet 16 pounds
round 10 - odds - 81/1 bet 16 pounds
round 11 - odds - 81/1 bet 16 pounds

bhop - win by points - odds - 8/1 - my bet 100 pounds

so if bhop knocks out jc in any of the rounds above return will be 81 * 16 = 1296 pounds
if by points - 8 * 100 = 800 pounds

what do you think? is this wise or am i just wasting my money? thanks

Personally I think your £164 will be staying with the bookie (this is probably good news for you that Fenster thinks that) ;)

I just hit William hill with the following (I don't often bet so only little ones)
Cally to win @ 33-1 rounds 7-12
B-Hop to win rounds 8 and 9 @ 40-1 (got a horrible feeling he'll but n cut his way to victory.
and a few quid on the draw @ 16 - 1
De La Hoya is bringing in an estimated BILLION $$$$ this year to vegas (FACT) so add that to Cortez reffing and the draw seems well worth a go.;)
Do see a stoppage but the clean cut KO seems unlikely imo as both have solid chins.

Im seeing this fight go down exactly like Hattons fight. Hopkins frustrates JC through the early rounds, not getting hit, holding etc and pot shotting him. JC gets tired and desperate later on and hopkins puts him to sleep. Watched JC vs Kessler again earlier on and JC was pritty much all out at the end, you could see he was hurt and (*IF*) Kessler had a little more about him could of finished that fight the winner. I think you will all agree that Hopkins is a absolute genius, master at spoiling the other fighters rythem and game plan (i know im sounding like a fanboy, but it is what it is).

Im wimping out on betting a little bit but im so gonna regre it if im right and dont bet, will keep you updated if i go through with it!!

Yeah that 16/1 for the draw is def short-ish.. and gotta be worth a couple of bob

Just hope the taffs don't boo the Star Spangled Banner for Joe's sake;)

i hope they don't boo it for my sake.. i need Joe to win, i'm already scared he is going to get shafted on the cards

hi, they must have changed it its:

50/1 now and was 81/1 for hopkins win by knock out in round 8, 9, 10, 11 seperate with max bet of 16 pounds

and hopkins decision was 8/1 and now is 15/2

the odds change every hour, the more money people pur on a certain bet the lower the odds become, im just pissed i didnt do it a couple of days ago DAMM!!

As long as you bet who you think will win and not who you want to win, you should be fine, safe money would be on joe, if you want the chance to get paid bet hopkins.
