Gerry Penelosa back on Mosley v Judah undercard
Great to see him staying active,I hope it's a good fight.Gerry is P4P top 20 without a doubt imo.On skills alone he's P4P.
Re: Gerry Penelosa back on Mosley v Judah undercard
I've read that Gerry's hand is still hurting and it might not be ready for a May 31 fight... Gerry tho is high on an August rematch fight with Ponce DeLeon (that's if PDL beats JuanMa in their upcoming fight)...

I think he's making an excuse. I think he doesn't want another tune-up match before de Leon fight, considering this news came after de Leon accepted the challenge of Penalosa. IMO too, he can't afford too much tune-up fights at his age. He's right on the track, he should be concentrating on de Leon fight as he'll be having his hands full in that fight.

You make a good point there pareng pacfan. Gerry is just making sure to have his rematch with DPDL healthy. He's not getting any younger and can't afford to reinjure his hand no more.

I totally agree... If Gerry accepted it, he could end up fighting Abner Mares on May 31... a high risk, low reward fight... Team Nacho should put Rafa in there and I think Gerry will accept it without any hesitations...
