Think I may have tosilitis...

Has anyone else on here ever had tosilitis before? I think I may have it now.

Yesterday morning I was feeling fine, but later in the afternoon I started feeling real stiff (like you do when you get sick) and weak, and a loss of appetite.
Late in the evening my stomach got upset and I threw up a few times. :-\

I've had a very bad headache all thru the night, and this morning still feel very weak. Here's why I think I may have tonsilitis:

-Although I have been nauseas and had an upset stomach, while ago I went to the restroom and did NOT have diarrhea :confused:

-Most of the pain is in my neck. My glands and neck muscles are stiff and swallowing is a bit more difficult (not to the point of panicking, though).

One thing confuses me though. Even though my lymph nodes and neck muscles hurt a bit, my actual throat is not sore... :dontknow:

Sorry to bother everyone with this. I hope so I don't have to get my tonsils removed, because I don't feel like going through surgery, and also I don't want to have to pay for the surgery.

I've had tonsilitis on a number of occasions.

Vomiting is not an ordinary syptom.
Fluey symptoms are common.

Only one that can tell for sure is a doctor of course, but a tell tale sign is the presence of "white spots" on the throat.

If your throat isn't sore it's not tonsilitis though.

Sounds like you could have a severe flu man.
Tkae care of it and be sensible with it.

I'm sick in the head myself at the moment.

May be. I know every time I lay down, it seems to get worse. But if I sit up a bit, I actually seem to feel a little better... :confused:

are you hurt anywhere else? like a cut or anything that could be infected?
one of the symptons of the body when defending against a infected wound or virul attack is swelling of the lymph nodes and stiffness.

No. No injuries anywhere. Just this stiffness in my neck is all. I'm startin' to feel better now, although my appetite still hasn't returned to normal and I'm still a bit on the weak side.

you may have a flu bro. Better go to a doctor and ask for some antibiotic.:cool:

Is penicillin still an over the counter drug in the PI's?

Yes bro, almost all antibiotics can be purchased without a doctor's prescription here. :confused:

Deng! People can be dependent to those drugs, and eventually will mess up their immune system.

I ain't purchased no drugs.

Although I felt better when I woke up today, when I woke up I HAD A SORE THROAT!! Now my voice is pretty much gone unless I talk very low like Carl Childers. But hopefully tomorrow I can be back in the gym & all that good stuff.
