Just so you guys know the magnitude of this rivalry.. at ANY event that i go to, like a concert or something like that.. as everyone is filtering out of the venue, it is GUARANTEED that a "YANKEES SUCK" chant will arise and last for about 5 minutes haha..

this is prolly the number 1 rivalry that annoys me the most. a bunch of hardcore idiots :p i have come to realize that baseball sucks! a bunch of over grown fags in tights, barely participating throughout the game.

on defense, wait for ball near you.

on offense sit your ass on the bench til your turn to hit.

coach: throw a hissy fit for no reason.

fxck baseball! its the closes thing to golf. I prefer hockey now cause them boys get down. they will mess eachother up, unlike baseball barely coming in contact.real sports, has lots of action non stop competition.

Nothing beats this rivalry....sure you soccer fans can sing your showtunes and wonder why the world thinks you're gay but when the BoSox and the Yanks get together in the fall nothing comes close to it.

I guess maybe UNC-Duke but that's still more civil than Red Sox-Yankees

Exactly, any sport that has less real contact then the watching fans gotta be lame. Football,hockey and soccer fans would kicked baseball fans arses any day of the week ;)
