Captain Beefheart and THE Magic Band set up for the French telivison in 1968 out the front of a Cannes hotel .
This is my favorite band of all time,its raw ,different and way ahead of its time. Don Van Vielt had this band running up to about 1998
Anyone who plays will appreciate the raw complexity for the area.
The first thing I thought of was "Dr.John" from down here ??Has some slight catches of zepplin,and Wolfman jack also Lol.Actually thats some unique sound there Andre....On the beach and everyone is in full garb in the background ;DRead where it was like a big collection of Musicians that would Play together.I have learned today ;D.....had never heard of Beefheart prior.Quote:

"Safe as milk" their first album in late 60s acclaimed as a new rock begining.
Ry cooder was introduced to the world on that album.
