also most recentley he was the moron that had calzaghe over hopkins 116-111
He had that ridiculous scorecard where Hopkins only won 3 rounds over Calzaghe. He also had Bojado beating Forbes and a bunch others that I just don't remember. Now to just give Roth and Ford the boot.
Judging is hit or miss but some of these regular Las Vegas judges are just absolutely horrible all the time. There are some I like like Moretti and Hamada (sorry Sal ;D) but Giampa was just consistently awful!
Good riddance, too bad we can't get the other Vegas judges to join him, they're all on the take IMO, it's a conspiracy I tell ya...
I would love to attend a Vegas fight, just so I can check out the judges to see if they are actually watching the fight.
They probably think it is 1 minute rounds of ring card girls, with a three minute break between rounds.
I respect him for all his years dedicated to the sport but he has messed up some big fights and has made some of the worst one sided scoring decisions in the history of the game....
With any luck Dalby Shirley will soon be following along with someone forcing Billy Costello to take a hike as well

If nothing else Giampa was good at f@cking up the scorecards and making controvery. I will say though, even though he represented what is wrong with Vegas judging, good luck to him in the future.
He just did the boxing world a big favor.

Yea. 116-111 is just pure exageration imo. I don't know WTF he was watching that night.
