Why is Timothy Bradley the WBC'S NO1
In his last fight the Timster beat Miguel Vazquez who boasted an unbeaten 19 0 record that had more padding than a than a DFS sofa.
Surely this is no reason to rank him NO 1.
Witter is gonna knock this chump out in double quick time.
Another embarresment looms for the WBC.
Re: Why is Timothy Bradley the WBC'S NO1
He was supposed to fight Castillo in an eliminator for the no.1 spot, I believe.. Castillo couldn't make weight and the fight was called off on the day of, guess they just made him no.1 by default. Exact same thing just happened with Carl Froch and Inkin.. Whether a fight between Bradley and Castillo would have really warranted a no.1 spot either I don't know, but it's all politics. Ideally the top 10 rankings would be virtually identical among all 4 sanctioning bodies, but that's not the case, there are names nobody has heard of somewhere in all of them, any weight.

I believe the your question can be answered with one word: corruption. The alphabet rankings go to the fighters who are willing to pay the most sanctioning fees, not the best fighters.

torres, malinaggi, kotelnik
hell even kendall holt is more deserving of a shot than timothy bradley!!
Re: Why is Timothy Bradley the WBC'S NO1
I agree, bradley by some diving miracle could win, and this shit still wouldn't be right. It'd be nice to see, but not right.

All three of those guys you mentioned are actually champions in the division though. Torres has the WBO, Malignaggi the IBF, and Kotelnik the WBA titles. There really isn't a lot of depth in the division at all and as I've never seen Bradley I really can't complain about him getting a shot..
