when i ask this question i mean whose going to be the boxer who has a popular name
we had tyson, then rjj, and mayweather who says hes retiring after the oscar fight probably
so whose going to be the star of boxing after mayweather retires
i really have no idea whose its going to be..-_-
Guys like Cotto, Hatton Pacquiao still have years left in them so they will just step up in popularity or should I say they will recieve the extra press...
Cotto IMO is going to be the biggest name in the sport after DLH/PBF etc leave....He will be the next Trinidad popularity wise....
I think Andre Berto has a great chance, or for a real up and coming fighter Yuriorkis Gamboa

Vanes Martirosyan. I like his fighting style. I don't know about him taking the top spot in the future. But I have strong feeling he'll make it in the top 10.
IF and thats a big IF Cotto gets past MArgarito, it will be him, regardless of whether he fights Mayrunner or DLH. Now if Margarito wins, he would have to pretty much unify his and the top and bottom surronding weight classes to even come close to that kind of popularity. The guy just doesnt get love.

If he has the chin as a pro its pretty simply IMO, Rau'Shee Warren. THis guy is as fast as anyone, he has excellent skills, and a really good power. BUt unlike guys like Gamboa who is a good athlete, he also has great technical skill
