HATTON v LAZCANO and SKY'S "AT HOME WITH THE HATTONS" show..
Watched this last night and i was cringing a bit to be honest at some of Hattons play acting:-\
He seems pretty distracted to me and possibly taking Lazcano lightly as well.
Funny in parts but does he really need distractions like this before arguably his biggest fight?
He looked nervous to me when he was sat on his sofa and the realisation of 55,000 fans pinning their hopes on him seemed to dawn.
Add to this that he's had to "take his foot off the gas a bit for a while in training" - due to an illness and imo it's not exactly ideal preparation.
Some will say he's had cameras in his face during build ups to loads of fights during the final weeks in the past but they were made purely around the training/press side of things and not in some slightly odd circus like fly on the wall programme.
Just my thoughts and i'd have liked to have seen him fired up weeks ago for this like a caged lion.
Huge fight with too many distractions and a humbling loss on the way maybe?:-\
Hope not!

Thats just ricky naturally
you honestly think he would take fighting infront of 55,000 adoring fans with a pinch of salt and not bother to train like hell for it.
Hatton made this programme because he wants to sell a few more box office orders and make himself as much money as possible.
But if lazcano watches that and honestly thinks rickys mind is on playing the adoring daddy and son at home rather than retaining his world championship infront of the biggest audience he`ll ever fight infront of, im sure ricky wont mind one bit!!

If he's taking Lazcano lightly it's because he can afford too.. this is a onesided bullying exhibition against a weary 33-year-old coming out of retirement for a decent payday.
If Hatton slips-up he needs to call it a day.. sharpish. No excuse would be acceptable.

A likkle bit of ring rust............
The illness was a bigger factor than I thought to be fair............
