'Monster' set to mash at UFC 84!
Shane Carwin to make Octagon debut!
Shane “Monster” Carwin (8-0-0) will look for a successful debut in the UFC when he takes on Christian Wellisch (9-2-0) at UFC 84: ILL WILL. While Brock Lesnar made instant headlines signing with UFC, with only one MMA fight to his resume, Carwin has flown under the radar, signing a three-fight contract with the UFC. Sporting an undefeated record, in which he has dismantled his opponents all in the first round—his longest match was his first which lasted 2:11 against Carlton Jones in October of 2005—Carwin looks to start making a name for himself in the UFC.” . . . .

There's a lot of hype about this guy but I think he's going to get found out just like Lesnar. He's a huge guy one of the biggest I've ever seen in MMA but all he does is plods forward until he gets the slam or gets it to the ground or whatever. Apparently he was an NCAA champion wrestler but I imagine that's because of his size alone.
Also, the UFC needs a minor league a legitimate minor league because how many times has Brock fought? Once right? It's a joke, Dana needs to stop signing young talent because he just can't develop them properly end of story.
