Would Ricardo Torres KO Ricky Hatton ??
I've always thought Torres would give Hatton a very good fight and could KO him especially with Hatton's leaky defense and Torres power, but now this match up is looking worse and worse for Hatton IMO. Getting wobbled by naturally smaller Lazcano and looking like a shot fighter whats your thoughts on this ??
Re: Would Ricardo Torres KO Ricky Hatton ??
I don't think so. I mean you need to see the fight yourself mate to see whether you think Hatton's shot but IMO he ain't shot.
Re: Would Ricardo Torres KO Ricky Hatton ??
He has the power to do it. But he might not get the chance. Torres has a very difficult fight with Holt coming up. I had Holt ahead before he got stopped in there first fight. I can see Holt winning the rematch

Yea i agree with that i don't fancy his chances against Holt either in a rematch, but in a way im hoping Torres wins because i think Hatton vs Torres is one of the most entertaining fights to be made at 140, and Torres is the only real Jr Welterweight that can bang he has the kind of power that can turn a fight around with 1 punch. I've always said this even before Lazcano fight that Torres vs Hatton needs to be made.

I think Victor Ortiz will be running the 140 division by the middle of next year

I think Tim Bradley will do well also, I was very impressed with him.

I didn't think Bradley was that good to be honest i think Witter was just so poor. Bradley is a tough durable fighter but not much else he is very limited im not sold on him at all yet, but maybe he can do well considering how weak 140 pound division is at the moment.
Re: Would Ricardo Torres KO Ricky Hatton ??
I think he could if he caught him with a great shot but if they fought hatton would win by stoppage.

Considering how "feared" switch-hitter Witter was and yet Bradley dominated and floored him in his backyard while never facing somebody in the top 50 before, to me that's impressive. But everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Yea you could make an argument of how poor witter was rather than how good bradley was.
Re: Would Ricardo Torres KO Ricky Hatton ??
IMO i think yes , Torres showed that he have cojones for go toe to toe , no doubt that he have power in his both hands , good combinations and that fight could be a real battle they have the same style ...............
Re: Would Ricardo Torres KO Ricky Hatton ??

I don't think he looked shot.
His timming was good, he got off pretty much at will, and he kept a good solid pace for 12 rounds. The only thing (as he pointed out quite humourously between rounds 11 and 12) was that he got caught when he gambled. In other words he was looking to end matters and kept walking on to shots.
That shit used to happen in his earlier fights, albeit against softer foe.
He'd better tighten up against Torres, although it'd be enough just to pick he's shots a little more.
*EDIT*
Oh and Tim Bradley is very decent. In no way limited IMO. He'd have little problem with Torres or that fag Paulie.
