randolph turpin headguard for sale

You may have interest in purchasing our unique headguard as worn by Randolph Turpin in sparring for his fights.

The item has been passed down to us by Randolph himself through Eddie Thomas at Eddie Thomas's boxing stable in Merthyr. It was given to us in 1968, shortly after he passed away.

We as a family have a strong boxing background, and my father Des was training in Eddie Thomas's gym at the time that it was given.

The item was valued at £2000 on ITV's Find a Fortune, filmed in London in August 2000, but we decided to keep it as a unique piece of boxing memorabilia - but now we have decided to part company with it.

We also have a video tape of Randolph sparring that shows him actually wearing this headguard.

We are open to offers with it.
