Any news on Guillermo Rigondeaux?
Anyone from Florida or Cuba who knows whats going on with this guy? This is getting frustrating because this guy is literally Pernell Whitaker with Roy Jones Jr's athleticism at 119... Gamboa is a good prospect, but this guy is far and away better than Gamboa. The last I heard was that he was still training by himself, but Castro wouldn't allow him back on the Cuban team. Obviously I would prefer to see him go pro in the states, but I just want to see him fight again period.
I highly recomend you check him out on youtube, he is heavy handed, godly fast, and great skills (though unorthodox). His movement is also insane, if any pro had his footspeed or movement they would almost never get hit.

Rigondeaux is definitely good I wish he would have just went pro he would have 10 times the hype of Gamboa. He's good.

I'm bringing this up so everybody has a chance to see him, I know there are people on here with more weight in the boxing community than me who can potentially do something for the guy.

If he's not gonna be allowed to make trips with the Cuban team then obviously defection is much less of a possibility. So not sure what people could do.
