News flash : Ironing sux for men!
Well, I moved out exactly 1 month ago. Somehow with only 4 work shirts, today is the first day in a month that I have had to iron anything in a whole month.. (Don't ask me how) Although I went to work last Friday looking like I had textured my shirt with screwed up newspaper...
Anyway, it sux! I spent literally 35 minutes doing one pair of pants, and one long sleeve shirt. I f'd up the crease in the front of the pants so that there were basically 2 creases. Well, kind of one that turned into 2, like a lightning bolt/Z shaped thing. I fumbled and f'd around like a retard for 35 minutes. And they both still kind of look like a 5 year old ironed them...
Times like these I appreciate having a mom at home to iron all my stuff....
If I never have to iron another shirt, that will be wonderful! Unfortunately I have 3 more to do tomorrow night. It is definetly not a man's job!
Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
I can't iron a shirt to save my life.
I think I'd be losing less money buying a new shirt everyday than I would by ironing my shirts because of the hours it would take me to have them ironed half satisfactorily.

Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
I iron my clothes only when I have to.
Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
Who the hell irons? We have 3 kinds of clothes in our house. Wrinkled. Less wrinkled. More wrinkled. :headscratch:
Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
I've never even must given any thought to ironing clothes.
Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
I wouldn't even know how to iron. I'm a slob by choice and love the freedom it extends me. I wear shorts 24/7 365 and windbreakers; that's about it. If they're wrinkled I just step on them for a few minutes:)
Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
haha ohhh i hate it too, then stressing about whether you took the itron out or not. ANyways I fixed the problem for me, I just buy tight fitting clothes (not like skin tight where you can see your midrif or a distinct outline of your package) but tight enough so after you've worn it for about 20 mins they seem to look a lot less wrinkled. Saves my ass for sure.
Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
I bought some iron free of reduced ironing shirts from Dilliards.....and they look pretty cool and def. need ironing less.
Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
Its really become a downer waking up and looking at those clean but Balled up shirts.I tend to put too much pressure on Iron and just went to work with the Ironing board grid embeded on my blue shirt.....pressed to hard :kar:
Someone told me that you could hang em up in a steamy bathroom to get the wrinkles out....that s!!! don't work iether...:-X
Re: News flash : Ironing sux for men!
"Celebrity Dry Cleaners" out here where I live is owned by a really, really good friend of mine. I get discounts and I've even gotten some cleaned for free. I can also get my clothes same day on any given day.
I also don't push it, but he tells me it's OK. He plays in my soccer team on weekends.

That's a good idea! I might have a look for something like that..
Just so it's clear, I had to iron my shirt and pants because of my office job.. I would never pickup and iron for anything else that I have..
