I never noticed this before (rankings related)
I was checking out the IBO website as someone said they offer a really good rankings system.
For a bargain basement organization, they really do seem to have the most fair ranking system of any other organization. So fair in fact, that I notice some of their own champions ranked like 22nd overall in a given weight class.
It is computerized so it is not perfect either, but it is better than being politically motivated rankings.

Roy jones 3rd at SM..the guy is now a bulked up 175pounder??
quintana ranked above williams
hlatshywaya above berto
lazcano above torres

Like I said they are computerized rankings. And Tarver should be ranked above Hopkins. Hopkins is coming off a loss and Tarver has a good win, a previous meeting at this point does not mean much.
Winky's name is Ronald.
They are not perfect, but much better than having Lockett ranked #1 due to the WBO having deep pockets etc.

It does for the most part seem like the lesser of two evils, but there needs to be some reality check to make it better.
I do like that they rank champs of other organizations, that alone is a good step forward.
