So what happens now at 130?
With no Pacquaio, no JMM, no Barrera, no Morales, no Guzman
There's Humberto Soto, Edwin Valero, Robert Guerrero has apparently moved up to 130. Looks like Gamboa is moving down to 126 possibly. Then there are guys like Alex Arthur, Baloyi, guys that will get fights but aren't championship level guys. I don't think Linares is long for 126 really, he looks like he has to cut to get there.
So not much there right now. I would like to see any mix of Valero, Soto and Guerrero fight. I think Soto might be the man now.
Thoughts?
Edit-How could I forget Rocky Juarez who will get 32 more title shots and throw like 8 punches a fight.
Re: So what happens now at 130?
first of, about the rocky juarez comment.....:lolhaha:
being serious now, i think soto is the man for now.
Re: So what happens now at 130?
I thought Soto was also moving up to the lightweights(if staying he is my PACMAN in that weightclass I'm rooting for this guy as long as he doesnt fight Manny), Valero is helluva big for a superfeather definitely need to move up also.
If Yuriorkis Gamboa decides to stay he will probably dominate it if Linares doesnt move up.
Rocky Juarez for all of his tentativeness will always have a BIG punchers chance and might get a belt:cool:
Re: So what happens now at 130?
Guerrero - Soto would just be crazy. I would lover to see that fight. I'm a Guerrero fan but I'm not sure how that one shakes out. Definitely a great fight though there would be no boring moment.
Re: So what happens now at 130?
I'd say Soto is probably the most accomplished guy in the division, and he got absolutely shafted last night. But I'm pretty sure Linares, or possibly Gamboa, will end up being the man to beat at the weight over the next couple years. I'd pick Linares over Soto right now, need to see Gamboa in with more dangerous opponents to say but he's possibly more talented than Linares, and definetly Soto imo. Im hoping we see Linares-Gamboa shape up over the next year.
