Sylvester to get title shot!
"Hurricane" Sebastian Sylvester will fight for the WBA middleweight title before the end of the year. WBA president Gilberto Mendoza has confirmed in writing that the 27-year-old will take on the winner of Saturday's meeting between Felix Sturm and Randy Griffin within the next 120 days. Should Sturm retain his title, the showdown with Sylvester, which has been highly anticipated by German boxing fans, would be official. "I have worked hard to get that chance," Sylvester said. "Finally the time is right to fight for the title. I want to become world champion." Sylvester became mandatory challenger by impressively knocking out Javier Castillejo in the 12th round of their epic clash in April. Together with manager Winfried Spiering he has just signed a contract extension with Sauerland Event. The European middleweight champion is now curiously awaiting the outcome of Sturm's fight against Griffin. "It will be a nice opportunity to take a close look at my opponent," he said. "But whoever wins – he will be in for an even tougher challenge against me."

Sturm can run but he can't hide from SS.

I think SS should just "storm" into the ring and bring the fight to Sturm.
Sturm has never convinced me, never. I remember when BCD was a MW, I always thought Sturm-BCD would be the future matchup but BCD grew out of the div.
If SS can apply tactical pressure and just make Sturm go against the ropes I think SS can spark him out.
Really looking forward to this one if I'm honest and then HOPEFULLY we can see SS vs. Amin III at championship level. :D

I think Sylvester takes this he impressed me KO'ing the very tough Castillejo, where as Sturm hasn't impressed me since the ODLH fight. Dunno whats the matter with Sturm but based on there recent performances Sylvester wins this, but who knows Griffin may beat Sturm yet, so lets not count are chicken's just yet folks.

No...Sturm(like AA)can fight very well backwards I think he actually prefers it even...
If Sturm wins against Griffin...he won't have an easy opponent in SS,but in the end Sturm will be to good for SS...But in his last fights Sylvester has grown on me...
