Fightnews is reporting that the WBA will have Valuev and John Ruiz fight for the WBA "Regular" heavyweight Championship and the winner must fight Ruslan Chagaev who now holds the WBA "Champion in Recess" Heavyweigh Championship.
WTF- The WBA uses interim titles; what's up with creating a whole new funny title.
And seriously- out of the big four, the WBA is clearly the least credible alphabet gang.
Why not just have them fight for an interim belt and leave it at that? It's actually a legit reason this time. Who knows when Chagaev will return if ever?
I think the WBA is trying to find a way to give a title of some sort or another to all top 10 rated boxers in the heavyweight division.

i got ruiz, somehow i figure hes going to get pass the jab and do this regular thing, i dont think the giant can fight effectively on the inside

its on fightnews, the winner would "theoretically" (theoretically cause I'm not sure Chagaev is even alive or not) fight Chagaev.
