have you tried that weight gainer shake stuff its suposed to help lots.
No because my friend had bought some stuff from GNC called Weight Gainer and it had 900 calories in it but he said that he wouldnt recomend it because it tasted like sh*t and made him sick.
Should i try it anyways.
eat more food, drink a pint of milk etc
Assuming there are no medical reason for your lack of weight gain? eat more, eat the right stuff though, meat, fish, fruit, veg etc etc. You need to increase the amount of calories you take in.
Iight ima try the pint of milk and eating more fish meat fruits and veg etc etc.
Thanx 4 the advice.

pizza and pasta are good 8)
McDonalds too, I hear you can sue them lot too for making you a fatty ;D
Why d you need more muscle? Danny 'Little Red' Lopez was your height and weight and a murderous puncher, as was Sandy Saddler. I acnnot begin to tell you how overrated muscle mass is in boxing. Flexibility is more important as is technique and developing 'mental energy', the ability to think and plan in the ring.Do push-ups and isometrics and hit the heavy bag and you'll be plenty strong.
i got the same prob im 16 5 ft 9 and only 115 lbs even if i eat loads of fatty stuff i cnt put weight on iv being doin weights for 12 months now and my arms are a bit thicker and quite hard but thts it the rest of me is still quite thin but for tht weight id be flyweight when i strt competin later this yr but i got a 67.5 inch reach so is tht an advantage
At 5'9" you have great physical advantages and you say you are rock-solid so you are probably strong enough and more; the goal of boxing training is not to look like Mr. Universe and you do not have to lift your opponent overhead, just punch him. You are 16 so it is quite likely that you'll naturally put on weight within the next few years and if not maybe you weren't meant to so why give up the advantages you have at bantamweight to become a lightweight?
ye i spose thts right its just tht my dad said he weighd about the same at my age but 1 inch taller but said by the time he was 20 he was 9 and half stone if i do tht ill have to go from flyweight to lightweight or junior welterweightvery quickly will this not be demandin on my bodie to be stronger
by the way thnkz for the advice
Eat a lot of rice it works for sumo wrestlers. Dont work out put as much weight on, Dont do a lot of endurance workouts, just do really heavy wieghts do about 12 reps of each and 3 sets of each every other day
