I know boxrec can be full of shit some times, but it does have him listed as fighting Soto on September 16th in Mexico City.
Has anybody heard anything else about him coming back? This is news to me.

Humberto Soto by the way, I assume that's what people would have thought but who knows
That's a bad fight for him. I think Soto beats him up
No way. If Barrera does then he's dumb. Pacquiao had his foot off the gas pedal and Barrera still had problems with the pace. Just can't keep up after all these years. Soto is a whirlwind, I hope this isn't true.
I have to sneeze and haven't sneezed. I've had this sneeze for like 5 minutes, very annoying.
Love Barrera from day one,Soto would walk through him right now
BTW, I haven't heard anything about Barrera coming back. I think an article was posted here about Morales coming back but have heard nothing of Barrera coming back. Could be the comic brilliance of boxrec at work again.
Could they ever top Zahir Raheem-Derrick Gainer on their schedule? No I don't think so.
Exactly.... it's boxrec, meaning anything they have on their future schedule should not be taken seriously.
Boxrec is a great resource for looking up old fights... it is a worthless resource for info about future fights.
I could make up a thread on this board that Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are going to fight in December, and boxrec would probably post it on their schedule.
Seems like boxrec's been better lately though, could be just my imagination
I do know that reportedly Warren tried to get MAB for a fight with Alex Arthur but he didn't want it. Whether that was cause he had no interest of coming out of retirement or whether he just had no interest in fighting Alex Arthur is unknown to me.
the AA thing was a good while back.
Soto is a bad fight for barrera.
You'd think Arthur was a perfect (more than winnable) fight for him.. especially considering the WBO title would have been on the line. They couldn't come to an agreement - which means the money wasn't right obviously
Don't fancy the current Barrera against Soto.
I think Soto is just another one of those over-rated puncher waiting to be exposed, but one of the better ones IMO, though. How many times have that happened and nobody seems to learn, from Darchinian, de Leon, to Katsidis. I think a reasonably well conditioned Barrera can take on Soto anytime.
As you can see in my other thread, Arum says Pac will be fighting Soto so I guess boxrec screwed up again.
BoxRec is the Nationa Enquirer's prestigous on-line boxing website.
