Dawson will probably win. At least IMO.

Yeah I think Dawson wins this but he does have a bit of a chin issue, maybe Tarver can check it.
Tarver is on the slide though, Dawson is beginning to look like a very good fighter at the top level. I didn't think he beat Tarver but he impressed me. Think Dawson's jab and the work he does off it will be the main factor in the fight. That and Tarver has pretty much been reduced to throwing one shot at a time these days unless he can trap his guy.
Dawson also does some really good work to the body, always in combinations I really wouldn't be surprised to see him force a stoppage if Tarver just gives up like he did against Hopkins.
This has taken a while to make happen, they both fought in April, hopefully it takes place fairly soon it seems like this has taken forever to make when everyone thought it was a given after that card.
I'll take Dawsons some what thin chin over Tarvers questionable motivation and age.......Dawson may have received an early christmas but His offense is growing and naturally fluid,nice uppers also.
That should be a good fight with Dawson beating the milk dud.

Which explains why Dawson dropped the WBC belt and now Diaconu is the full champ.

After they both won on the same card last time round, it makes a lot of sense. Surely this must have been the plan all the way.
I like Dawson in this too btw.
Id probably lean towards Tarver in this one.
Its based on their fights with Johnson. Dawson Lost to Johnson certainly in the eyes of the crowd if not the judges but Tarver clearly beat a younger version afew years back
Also stylistically I reckon Traver may be that much better on the front foot and utilise his combination punching and uppercut . He digs al little harder too so that puts his nose infront IMO.
I predcit Dawson to win this. Hell, people were picking Clinton Woods to beat Tarver before there fight.

woods completely froze on the night and decided he wasnt gonna risk KO`ing a man he was getting badly beat by leaving the possibility of him leaving the arena on a stretcher.
If Tarvers got much left which i seriously doubt after watching the bhop fight then this should be interesting.

Woods didn't freeze. They interviewed him afterwards and he was happy with his performance he said, "I can't believe someone like me keeps getting pretty big fights."
1st of all when chad fought glen he didnt seem to hurt like roy jones and tarver only got like two rounds over hopkins which was the last game fighter he fought and tarver is 40 and is no where as tactic as bhop.
ps chad clearly won that fight i saw it twice he landed way more cleaner shots than glen but glen did catch him
