FRANK WARREN has started a £1million legal battle against Joe Calzaghe after their bitter bust-up.
The Welsh legend, 35, decided to go it alone so he can maximise his earnings as his career winds down.
But promoter Warren claims Calzaghe owes him at least £1m for breach of contract and has lodged a writ with the High Court.
Frank is some pain.
Every time a fighter tries to make the best of it wthout him he sues them.

Boxing great Joe Calzaghe is facing a high court action from his former promoter Frank Warren.
The pair parted company in June, ending a 12-year partnership, and reports suggest Warren is taking the Welsh boxer to court over an alleged breach of contract.
The BBC claims the legal claim was lodged via Warren's Sports Network company, just three days after Calzaghe announced he would promote his next fight on his own.
Calzaghe had been due to fight against Roy Jones JR in New York in September, but the fight had to be postponed this week after the Welshman injured his right hand in training.
The super-middleweight and light-heavyweight champion will now have to wait till November to fight Jones, with the 8th suggested as a possible date for the bout.
Calzaghe, the BBC sports personality of the year, is unbeaten in his professional boxing career and after beating former champion Bernard Hopkins in April this year claimed he would fight once more before retiring.
Neither Calzaghe nor Warren have commented on the alleged legal action.

Promoters are just like gangsters.
Warren is scum. I think I prefer Don King to Warren. Both are corrupt hypocrites but at least Don is entertaining.
A verbal contract isn't worth the paper it's written on. This is an even thinner legal case than the Ricky Hatton registered letter fiasco which Warren eventually dropped before it got to court. I hope Joe doesn't waste money on legal fees.
Warren hurt Joe's legacy more then anything...EG Manfredo type bouts....
Warren should just consider himself lucky that Joe C stayed with him as long as he did,,,
Warren made a ton of money off Calzaghe....Greed is rearing it's ugly head

Frank Warren is such a prick. He has made how much money off of Calzaghe throughout his career? And yet he wants to take him for as much as he can as long as he can. He is a very wealthy man and just wants to keep on taking.
I seriously dislike Frank Warren. Never liked the creep.
