Boxing conquered all last night
It was one of those rare moments when i as an englishmen log on at 3am on a sunday morning to find other alumni all awake ready to see 2 guys who live thousands of miles away in countries we`ve never so much as been to battling it out to be crowned the best of the best.
Remember chatting last night to a girl whos boyfriends mates who didnt really have a major interest in the sport but all vowed to go home together so they could watch this fight on ppv and thought to myself how only the sport of boxing could ever produce this kind of theatre.
Would these same lads have gone home to see a game of american football or kickboxing contest???
The best thing about last night that the sport i love so dearly got a shot in the arm from 2 warriors prepared to give it all for the cause and i`ll actually be able to go into work tommorow and chat about a fight thousands of miles away that quite a lot of my colleagues would all of seen!!!
Re: Boxing conquered all last night
well, said, I was so pumped last night after coming home. I do not have anything against MMA, I am not a fan but I can see why people like it but when it comes to epic battles, IMO MMA does not even come close to what boxing has to offer.
