O"Neil Bell moving to heavyweight
One of the biggest punchers in boxing today, as well as one of its most exciting practitioners, former undisputed cruiserweight world champion O"Neil Bell is ready to introduce some of that excitement into a new division - heavyweight. "The heavyweight division needs a savior, and I'm applying for the job," said Bell, 26-3-1 with 24 knockouts.
O'NEIL BELL MOVES TO HEAVYWEIGHT
Thoughts? I think a fight with Monte Barrett would produce some good fireworks.
Re: O"Neil Bell moving to heavyweight
Maybe him and david Haye could fight. Haye is searching for an opponent for November and a Ko win over Bell would look good on the CV.
Re: O"Neil Bell moving to heavyweight
Bell needs some serious direction in his career, he has the tools to be an decent HW, but he's got that Zab Judah all over the map mindset. I don't know how to get him focused consistently. I think Haye would beat him readily, but I think he would do well against some of the guys with less power, "but of course it all depends on which Bell shows up" - Spicoli Surfs 'Nawlins

Adds a bit more excitement at heavy which is always appreciated if he gets himself up for the job.

As soon as i see this thread thats the first thing that popped into my head i always wanted to see them go at it at Cruiserweight but O'Neil Bell did look like a finished fighter in his last fight so im not really that excited to see this fight anymore maybe 2 years ago but not now.

I think all of his detractors would just sight this as him fighting a "blown up cruiserweight" in Hayes own big time heavyweight splash debut.I do think Haye would flatten Bell at this point....let him try Maskaev etc.;D

I rather see Bell than Maskaev
Re: O"Neil Bell moving to heavyweight
Bell didnt look impressive in his last fight and seems to be very small for a heavyweight but if he can get more serious and train hard enough where he isnt quitting then maybe he has the tools to make some noise
