What do the Aussies think of the Billy Dib win?

I saw the fight, he won the vacant IBO super featherweight title against south african Zolani Marali in my home town of Newcastle NSW. I live at Cessnock about 6o k's away (37 miles) and couldn't go to the fight so I went to my local, The Australia Hotel where they always put on the fights. All the local fighters go there to see the fights. It was a great fight to watch I was so intriuged i put my beer on the floor not the table as i couldn't take my eyes off the screen and a schooner smashed - o well. Dib was knocked down in the third round with a good 3 punch combo from the taller Maraliand intermittently hurt through the 12 rounds. Johnny Lewis really looked after Billy Dib and he came out in 2 rounds with tape hanging off his gloves giving Billy some extra time. Anyway when the result was announced most of the people in the pub booooed and thought the south african Marali had won. I remember thinking it would be tough for Billy to get the decision but would like to see what others who saw the fight thought? I think Billy landed a lot but Marali landed plenty of telling blows. I'd like to see it again to score it. What do you guys think?
