Setanta up to 12.99 a month - anyone in UK know when increased ?

Just noticed this on my bank statement - anyone in UK know when this went up. They certainly didn't write to me !

Have hardly watched Setanta over Summer - apart from the 2-3 fights they have had. Now paying 45 for Sky, 13 to Setanta - never mind the phone line fees and licence :mad:

I should try the old ring up and threaten to leave trick - some people get price halved for 6-12 months !

i hve read that its almost impossible to leave them though so good luck with that and the merry phone dance your about to particapate in ;)

Boxing aside Setanta is ultra pants it looks like they present in a tool shed and every night they have NASN and American catch for hours.

Waste channel i wish Sky invested in boxing more.

all I watch on Setanta is the saturday early evening premiership game and the decent fights when on (they have calzaghe Jones). They probably have a decent fight every two months or so

Was easier when all on Sky :-\

Should be ok leaving them Saddo - have done before, but went back , can't remember why , think they had a Hatton fight at one stage did they ??

Setanta have no clue mate . They are always changing prices without telling anyone. I found out it was cheaper so had to call em up and asked to be moved to the cheaper price? whats that about . I also rang up to cancel and when I checked my statement they were still taking money out my account and I could still receive the channel

Seems like it has a bunch of fags working there that duno what theyre doing ! I was gonna cancel it for august cuz theres no fights on but ufcs on tonight . they took that off bravo . good boxing is on box office too so we have to juggle all these different channels to make sure we can see any boxing match

Think Hatton has always been on Sky.

I get mine free on cable virgin. Beside the boxing and occasional football match they are rubbish. Sky is a rip off but they are not going to reduce their price.

Haton-Castillo was on Setanta

I got an advertisement letter about 4-6 weeks ago informing what great value Setanta is for 12.99. Cunts.

The boxing presentation is utter pony but at least they're showing fights that Sky wouldn't pick up.

Boxing and the premiership games is all I watch.

Oh and they are showing the BDO darts. But that is shockingly third-rate compared with the PDC and Skys coverage, hardly worth watching.

Same with me it went a couple of months ago.

Rather than using the I will leave trick, just say you love Setanta and you have been a loyal customer for some time and you give then full credit for being where they are today and how they are giving Sky Sports a run for their money and you will get it for £7.50 during the next 6 months at least.

Because I have, that's what I pay!!

Setanta have got the Galzahge fight and seems as if they have the Manny Pac, Pavlik and Marg next fight. Still cheaper than Sky who are showing no international fights yet and will only show Hatton.

Hatton fights are on box office arent they ?

I might get rid of sky sports cuz Friday fight nights once a month arent worth £30

the good thing with setanta is the deal they have with HBO, which means a lot of good fights from the states, pavlik, pacquaio, cotto etc oh and steve bunces boxing hour! ;D

I have stopped my Sky subscription and Hatton is their only international fighter at the moment. I will subscribe when they have a good fight for the month. They may have the Moseley/Mayorga fight as they planned to have his last fight with Judah.

Setanta £12.99 is cheaper than sky and better boxing coverage

I've been getting poor signal from setanta for a couple of weeks. If it continues i'm leaving by cutting the wankers off at the source with direct debit guarantee.

you guys wanna try being on Freeview (I know I'm a cheapskate). You get up for boxing or UFC at 3am on SS1, the only channel you get and even though its on your EPG they cut the signal so you get a black screen.

The following week you ring them becuase its on the EPG and they tell you it will cut off anyway. Because your desperate and will watch an online stream anyway you try your luck and they show it.

You can complain and they never know whats happening but tell you to say your leaving and they'll give it you for a fiver a month for the next few months. They'll keep fucking up so you can get it for a fiver permanently, its like an adventure
